Epic 9 represents 24 years of winning XC innovation, distilled into the fastest race bike in the world. The Built for Legends LTD celebrates the Epic bike's unrivaled racing heritage with an exclusive colorway, exclusive red brake claipers, and unique details inspired by two decades of World Cup domination. Limited to just 119 individually numbered bikes worldwide, it is as rare as it is fast. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever. We started with Epic 8, the benchmark in XC racing, and pushed it even further. At 206 grams lighter, Epic 9 is the lightest full-suspension XC frameset on the planet. We reduced suspension friction by 11% and refined the kinematics. The result: unmatched efficiency, capability, and speed per watt. When the only goal is the top step, nothing in XC gets you there faster than the S-Works Epic 9 Built for Legends LTD. Use - XC Racing
