Change-of-Mind Returns Policy

If you change your mind about a purchase from the Specialized Retail Australia Webstore, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are in sellable condition (unworn, unwashed, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories).

Return Shipping Costs

Change-of-mind returns incur a return shipping fee:

  • Equipment (Apparel, Parts & Accessories): $9.95

  • Non-Electric Bikes: $150

  • Electric Bikes: $300

Note: Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

Exclusions

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Water bottles

  • Sale or clearance items

Products that are altered, damaged, or missing packaging cannot be returned.

How to Return an Item

  1. Ensure the item meets the conditions above.

  2. Log in to your account (or create one using the same email used at checkout).

  3. Submit a return request and wait for approval.

  4. Once approved, you’ll receive a pre-paid return shipping label and instructions.

  5. Include your order number or return form with your parcel, and drop it off at any Australia Post location.

Once we receive your return, it will be inspected and processed within 1 week. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 1–2 business days of approval.


In-Store Pick-Up Bike Returns

If you purchased a bike online and picked it up in-store, you can return it within 15 days of purchase, provided it is brand new and unused.
Before returning the bike to your retailer, please submit a return request through your account and wait for instructions from our team.


FAQs

Can I return a webstore purchase to a local Specialized dealer?
No. Online purchases can only be returned via the Specialized Retail Australia webstore process.

Can I exchange an item?
We don’t offer exchanges for change-of-mind returns. Please return your item for a refund and place a new order.

Do I pay for return shipping?

  • Change-of-mind: Yes (fees above apply)

  • Faulty or damaged items: No — we’ll cover the return shipping

When will I get my refund?
Refunds are processed within 1–2 business days after your return is approved. It may take additional time for your payment provider to reflect the refund.


Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for major failures, and repairs or replacements for minor issues.
